How to Change the Password of An Email Account Through cPanel
You can make changes to your email account through cPanel. The instructions below will guide you through changing your email password within cPanel.
Changing Email Password through cPanel
If the email account owner has lost or forgotten the password, the password can be changed through cPanel. This method does not require the old password.
- Log into cPanel.
- Navigate to the Email section, click the Email Accounts icon.
3. To the right of the email account you are modifying, click on the Manage button.
4. This will open the Manage An Email Account page. Navigate to the Security section. In this section, you can either enter your preferred password or generate a secure password.
5. Once done, click on the Update Email Settings at the bottom of the page.
