550 This message was classified as SPAM and may not be delivered, Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients. This message is mostly relayed by Webmail or Outlook in some servers. The most unsuspected reason for this error is usually when you have links (hyperlinks) in your email signature either for your website, email, or phone number.

Resolution

To resolve this, go to your signature settings in Outlook or Webmail and remove any hyperlink in you signature.

Other Possible Reasons

This can happen for several reasons, including:

  • The email contains spam-related terminology, design, or HTML code 
  • The email was sent from a Microsoft Outlook account without SMTP authentication enabled
  • The email uses exclamation marks in the subject

Things you can try to avoid this error:

  • Enable SMTP authentication in Outlook
  • Review the title and body of your message, and remove any terms that could be considered spam
  • Avoid using exclamation marks in the subject 
  • Use a web application firewall to protect your account from spammers
  • Change your outgoing mail port to 2525, 587, 465, or 26
